Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gulf Island Rentals website and our jet ski rental, guided dolphin tour, and related services. By making a reservation, signing a rental agreement, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not book or use our services.

Reservations and Payments

Reservations are made through our booking platform and are subject to availability. Prices shown on the website are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice for future bookings. Your reservation is confirmed when payment is received and a confirmation is issued.

The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all participants meet the age, identification, and safety requirements described in these Terms and on our rental pages.

Age, ID, and Operator Requirements

• Must be 7 years old to ride and sit behind the driver, 18 years old to operate (drive) and rent, and 21 years old to sign the rental contract.
• Each operator (driver) must have on their person a valid form of ID and, if born on or after January 1, 1988, a current Florida Boater's Safety Card or a Nationally Recognized Boater's Safety Card.
• For everyone's safety, you cannot go out on the water if the driver does not speak English.
• Our WaveRunners hold up to 3 people or 530 pounds, but 2 adults and 1 child max.

Safety Rules and Operating Restrictions

• Operators (drivers) must sign a liability waiver.
• Operators (drivers) will ensure that all passengers on the vessel have signed a liability waiver prior to leaving the dock.
• Operators (drivers) must receive training procedures from Gulf Island Rentals and follow all safety rules.
• Safety briefing completion is required before launch.
• Bay riding only for safety and local regulations. No Gulf entry with rental jet skis.
• No Gulf riding unless permitted by staff.

Staff may refuse launch or end a rental if safety rules are not followed, if weather conditions are unsafe, or if an operator appears unable to operate the watercraft safely. No refund is due when a rental is ended for rule violations.

Cancellation, Refunds, and Rainchecks

Please cancel 24 hours prior to the WaveRunner rental start time for a full refund. If the rental is cut short due to inclement weather or WaveRunner issues we will issue a raincheck that can be used for a different rental date and time. If the trip is canceled by Gulf Island Rentals you will be issued a full refund minus the ticket fee if booked online.

Once you leave the docks there are no refunds or rain checks so please make sure the weather will be good for the duration of your trip. If a storm comes through while you are out we ask if it is lightning to return back to the docks for your safety. If it is a light rain you can stay out. Once the storm blows through you can take your WaveRunner back out but we will not extend your time while you are at the docks. If you do not use all your time we will give you your slip back and you can use your remaining time on a different day.

Assumption of Risk

Jet ski rentals and guided tours involve inherent risks, including but not limited to collision, capsizing, changing weather and water conditions, and injury. By participating, you voluntarily assume these risks for yourself and for any minor participants you bring. You agree to follow all staff instructions, posted rules, and applicable Florida boating laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gulf Island Rentals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our watercraft or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Website Use

Content on this website is for general information and booking. You may not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for unlawful purposes. All site content, branding, and media belong to Gulf Island Rentals or its licensors.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date below shows the latest revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
