- Operators (drivers) must sign a liability waiver.
- Operators (drivers) will ensure that all passengers on the vessel have signed a liability waiver prior to leaving the dock.
- Operators (drivers) must receive training procedures from Gulf Island Rentals and follow all safety rules.
- Each operator (driver) must have on their person a valid form of ID and if born on or after January 1, 1988, a current Florida Boater’s Safety Card or a Nationally Recognized Boater’s Safety Card.
- Our WaveRunners hold up to 3 people or 530 pounds, but 2 adults and 1 child max.
- Must be 7 years old to ride and sit behind the driver, and 18 years old to operate (drive) and rent, and 21 years old to sign the rental contract.
Please cancel 24 hours prior to the WaveRunner rental start time for a full refund. If the rental is cut short due to inclement weather or WaveRunner issues we will issue a raincheck that can be used for a different rental date and time. If the trip is canceled by Gulf Island Rentals you will be issued a full refund minus the ticket fee if booked online.
Once you leave the docks there are no refunds or rain checks so please make sure the weather will be good for the duration of your trip. If a storm comes through while you are out we ask if it is lightning to return back to the docks for your safety. If it is a light rain you can stay out. Once the storm blows through you can take your WaveRunner back out but we will not extend your time while you are at the docks. If you do not use all your time we will give you your slip back and you can use your remaining time on a different day.

Yes — drivers/operators born after January 1, 1988 are required to have a Boater's Education Certificate to operate a boat or jet ski in Florida.
Customers may cancel for a full refund or reschedule their reservation, subject to availability, as long as the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking time. No-shows are non-refundable. Jet Skis: Refunds will only be issued if the equipment has not been used. If you do not use your full rental time, the remaining time may be used on another date or time, provided you keep your receipt. Please have an attendant note and mark the amount of time used.
We are open 7 days a week, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

We offer flexible rental periods: 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours. Group packages can be customized upon request.
Bring a valid photo ID, swimwear, a change of clothes, sunscreen, a waterproof phone pouch, and a towel. We provide all safety equipment including life jackets. Water shoes are recommended.
